Richard Pearse has published poems and stories in over forty magazines and anthologies, including The Paris Review, Prairie Schooner, Fiction, and Sudden Stories. His Private Drives: Selected Poems 1969–2001 was put out by Rattapallax Press. He is retired from professing at Brooklyn College but keeps backsliding into teaching.
