Anne Panning has published a book of short stories, The Price of Eggs (Coffeehouse Press), as well as short fiction and creative nonfiction in places such as Beloit Fiction Journal, Bellingham Review, Prairie Schooner, New Letters, The South Dakota Review, Black Warrior Review, and In Short II: An Anthology of Brief Creative Nonfiction (Norton). Anne's novel Carrot Lake, Carrot Cake recently won the Hackney Literary Award. Presently, she is at work on another novel: The Huli-Huli Honeymoon Hour.
