Retired U.S. Navy, James Fowler used his GI Bill to get a master’s in environmental science, majoring in nature writing, from Antioch New England. He edited Heartbeat of New England (200 Tiger Moon Productions) and has over two hundred poems and prose poems published in such journals as Bitter Oleander, Sentence, Quick Fiction, Worchester Review, Contemporary Haibun, etc. He recently signed a contract with Cyberwizard Productions to publish his first novel, The Healer, book one of the five-book fantasy series, The Silenian Wars.
