Allison Whittenberg, a winner of the John Steinbeck Award, holds an MA in English from the University of Wisconsin. Her first novel Sweet Thang was published by Random House in March 2006. Allison also published a poetry chapbook, The Bard of Philadelphia (RoseWater Publications, 2003).
