Luke Whisnant is the author of the story collection Down in the Flood and the novel Watching TV with the Red Chinese, currently being made into an independent film by Blue Water Productions. He teaches creative writing at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he also edits Tar River Poetry.
